COURSES

St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College offers range of courses that will help you decide and take the right choice on your career path. These courses include Foundation Level 1 Courses, Level 2 and 3 Vocational Courses and A Levels.

Choosing a course is something which you need to be serious of since it will determine your future. As you choose your course, you should be guided by your interests, skills, and strengths. These courses will be your stepping stone to a successful career especially if you work hard with your studies.

St Charles College Courses

Foundation (Level 1)

This course is a one year vocational course which includes Functional Skills Maths and English, and BTEC Diploma in Vocational Studies - ICT and Business (Level 1). After successfully completing these courses, students can progress to Level 2.

BTEC Diploma in Vocational Studies - ICT & Business Pathways Available (Level 1)

Intermediate (Level 2)

These are vocational courses level 2 which are one year courses. Vocational options include Art and Design, Business, Health and Social Care, IT. Sport, and Travel and Tourism with supporting GCSEs - Maths and English. After completing all their course works, and finishing these level 2 courses, they can move onto Level 3 BTEC Diploma or National Diploma.

Advanced (Level 3)

Level 3 include 2-year vocational courses, BTECs and CTECs. Students can choose to study BTEC National Diploma with supporting A level courses, or Cambridge Technical Diplomas (CTECs) with another supporting course. BTEC courses are usually equivalent to 3 A level courses so these subjects can stand alone on its own.
