My Own Experience at St Charles 

 

I am a new student at St Charles who came from other country. I am currently taking Vocational ICT (L1), Functional Skills English, and GCSE Math. During the first day that I entered the college, I was nervous because I knew that I would be facing a new environment and would be meeting new people. I don't know anyone that time, so I was just by myself throughout the day. 

But seeing myself today, I want to thank St Charles for making me feel like home. I have met and gained new friends who helped me to adjust in this new environment. The teachers were supportive and helpful, so I didn't have a difficult time doing my tasks and course works. The teachers would always say "Call me if you need help." or "I am just here if you have questions.", and their words always make me feel at ease. St Charles has helped me discover more about myself and made me learn new things that I need to be better. It gave me the things that I need such as resources and support, to improve my skills and develop other abilities that I need in the present and even in the future. 

I am thankful for St Charles for accepting me and welcoming me like I was never new in this place. Along with your help, I am always willing to work hard and learn more. In the future, I will never forget my experiences here and I will use those to reach my goals.
